The school was originally founded in 1932 under modest conditions with kindergarten and elementary levels. In 1981 it was renovated and became a modern stone-built school.
Former principals include Bier Arslan and Andranik Injijikian. The current principal is Mrs. Sonali Ghazal.
The school operates under the sponsorship of the Syrian Armenian Evangelical Educational Council. Today it serves 375 students with 30 staff members.

Principal & Senior Educational Leader with more than 38 years of experience across teaching, educational supervision, and school leadership. Her journey began in the classroom, shaped by a belief that real education starts with respecting students, trusting their potential, and building relationships grounded in trust and discipline. Over time, she moved into supervision and then administration, focusing on empowering teachers and creating learning environments that inspire and motivate.
She holds a B.A. in English Literature and a Diploma in Education from Aleppo University, along with a Secondary Education Certificate from Aleppo College for Girls. She is currently serving as principal of the Syriac Evangelical School.
